We will be packing and distributing food for our BACK 2 SCHOOL mobile food market. We are expecting 400 families to participate in this drive-through event.

Volunteers need to arrive promptly at 8:15am and park adjacent to our building (clients will line up across the street. Please do not park there). Dress for the weather and it will be HOT! T-shirts, shorts, ballcaps and sunscreen are recommended. This is an outdoor event where lifting and carrying food, boxes and bags that may weigh up to 15 pounds or more. Volunteers must be able to stand for long periods of time, loading food into vehicle trunks and truck beds. All volunteers will receive further instruction from Robin, our Operations Manager the morning of distribution.

COVID-19 precautions are in effect, and all staff and volunteers are required to wear a mask and gloves. Arlington Charities will provide these items, along with bottled water for hydration. AC staff will provide breaks to volunteers as needed.
