Family & Faith

Ed has been married to Gloria Murff Frazier for over 50 years. Together, they raised four children—Kindel, Erick, Kyle, and Stuart—and lovingly welcomed four additional children, Dundi, Clayton, Justin, and Levi, following a family member’s passing. Their growing legacy includes 13 grandchildren and 9 grandnieces and nephews. Their children have served in the mission field in countries such as China, Argentina, Ukraine, Europe, Sudan, Ghana, and Zimbabwe.

Ed and Gloria are longtime members of Central Bible Church in East Fort Worth, where they’ve faithfully served for 50 years.

Living on Mission

Ed calls himself a “missional warrior.” From his teenage years to today, he has viewed every opportunity—career, family, and volunteer work—as part of God’s calling. For over 60 years, he’s been a steadfast leader in both media and ministry.

In his 20-year media career focused on sports television, Ed traveled internationally, negotiated media rights, and helped consolidate the sports broadcasting industry—all while sharing his faith and serving others behind the scenes.

He has also served as an Elder at his church for 17 years, supporting spiritual growth and organizational health. Ed has shared stories of Christian men on BizTV using his platform and influence, spreading the message of service and faith to a global audience across 80 stations and digital platforms.

Weekly Service

Ed volunteers two days a week at the Central Storehouse, where over 400 families are served weekly. As a prayer counselor and utility player, he meets people from all walks of life—homeless neighbors, returning citizens, single parents, educators, refugees, and retirees—and listens to their stories with compassion and empathy. He also teaches two adult Community Groups on weekends and serves on the executive board.

Why He Serves

“I wasn’t expecting to enjoy serving at Central Storehouse. I had preconceived ideas about who came to food pantries. But I was wrong. I’ve met schoolteachers, architects, lawyers, and people from many faiths. Their humility and resilience have deepened my own spiritual growth.”

Serving has taught Ed not only to feed others, but to let God feed his own soul. He describes the joy of camaraderie among fellow volunteers and the privilege of witnessing prayers answered week after week.
